Tonight is Wild, Wet & Wacky night where there are 28 teams who compete at various games, all made and devised by the individuals who run the evening.  It is a very silly night with lots of water and foam used!!!  Youngest is taking part and as he left the house my last words to him were “don’t get hurt”!!!!!!!  I do not go down as I spend the whole evening cringing at the antics!

The Duck Race went well with just enough water in the brook for the ducks to float!  It was very, very hot last night and I don’t think any of us, including Treacle, slept well.  She was wandering the house most of the night looking for somewhere cool to lay. That was with all the windows open!!!!

It is much cooler today but we still have the prospect of thunder storms.

Tomorrow I am busy shopping for the Queen’s Tea on Saturday and tomorrow night I will be getting my ironing done as there will be no time over the weekend.
