It has been a busy old week here, Youngest has been off all week from college on holiday which Treacle has loved and I have not been feeling 100% so the bare minimum has been done with work and home!!!  Today has been a trying to catch up Day and so far I have caught up on my work and am just about to start on the house!!!  The weather has been up and down as well which has not helped, where did summer go?

Also June 1st snuck up on me and we are almost six months through 2017!  So where did the last five months go?  This is my Birthday month, which I really wish I could forget about and there is so much happening this month, I think I will just cancel it anyway!  We have the swimming club Open happening, DH will be handing over as President of Derbyshire ASA on Father’s Day of all days (!), we have the start of Carnival (!), we have a work colleague who is retiring after 50 year’s in business as well as several other Birthdays and other events and that will be June over!!!!!!!!

I did get a lot of quilting done over the three day holiday we had last week but I can’t show it to you just yet.  I have also begun to quilt Youngest’s quilt, although I had done a little bit and then decided I didn’t like it so have had to unpick it and start again!!! 

The weather is supposed to be good tomorrow and then raining on Sunday so any garden jobs will have to be done tomorrow and then try and catch up on Sunday with other house jobs.  I still have not swapped over my winter jumpers for summer things and at this rate summer will be over! 

I have also gotten behind with reading my favourite blogs so I will sit down later with a cup of tea and spend a few happy minutes doing that.  I hope your week has gone well and you have a lovely summer weekend.
