It has been a busy old weekend as always. Friday 24th saw the birth of DH’s second Grandchild, a little boy called Owen Ezra who weighed in at 7lb 12oz! We have not had chance to get to see him yet because of his Mum staying in hospital a little longer than planned (she had a “C” Section) and they had other visitors.
Saturday evening we were out with some friends at another friends Golden Wedding celebrations in the village. We had a lovely evening.
The only thing I didn’t like over the weekend was we lost an hour as our clocks went forward for the summer! I never seen to catch up that hour until we fall back!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful weather, beautiful flowers…what more can you ask for (except an extra hour!)?? Treacle certainly looks happy to be out in the sunshine!! I love Daylight Savings Time and wish they would just leave it there – more light later in the day!! Until I moved to the Pacific Northwest, I didn’t appreciate how much sunshine I lived with in Nevada…especially in the winter! It might be below 0, but the sun would tempt you to go outside! In Washington in the winter, I have to do the outside chores before 3 in the afternoon if I wanted any light whatsoever!!! But summers, with it being light until almost 10 at night…wonderful!!! We lost our hour of sleep a few weeks ago and I am loving the extra daylight in the evenings! How are the quilts coming along?? I went home last week (probably for the last time for a while) and brought back a bunch of fabric so I can make more quilt tops!!!
