Busy Mom, Wife, Director of own Company.

Welcome to my Blog, I love meeting new people!
The Blog is supposed to be about quilting, which I love to do and am getting better at (!) I first started quilting in 2010. I have always loved to sew, having been taught by my Grandmother when I was young, but quilting had always fascinated me so when we went to the US for the second time in 2010 I bought some fabric and set off on my quilting journey.
However I don’t always get enough time to sew, looking after my wonderful husband of 37 years and our two Boys who are 30 and 26. Along with running our own business and looking after our home as well! But I do try and get some sewing done each week!
Reading is my other hobby which I love and you will hear about my Best Friend Jayne on my Blog and we, last year, started our Cosy Girls Book Club. We have had a lot of fun taking turns choosing a book and the majority of them we have both loved. You will find that I have Susie’s Friday Book Club on the Blog too where I review books I have been reading or listening to.
I work from home and have done for the past thirty three years. When the Pandemic hit and everyone was so pleased to be working from home, nothing for me changed!!! Except of course I was not able to go out to run errands to get away from home for a while!!!
Our Family has now grown with the addition of a Partner for Eldest and her two wonderful daughters, The Girls, and their own son, Little Man! We also have a Partner for Youngest who is now Fiancé and their new arrival Little Lady. They have their own homes now and DH and I are empty nesters!
Our Darling Airedale Terrier, Treacle, passed over the Rainbow Bridge in April 2022 aged fourteen in her sleep and we do miss her so much. She has her own page on the Blog and had her own day on the Blog, The Wednesday Wag and she will live on through them here. We now have a lovely and very cute Airedale Puppy called Coco who is now four years old. She also has her Day on the Blog, Coco’s Corner on Tuesdays.
Through my Blog I have got to know some lovely people around the World and that means a lot to me.
Thank you for stopping by and please leave me a comment as I love to hear from you.

Love the sculpture and I am sure that our dads would have loved it too – it would have appealed to their sense of humour!
