A Bank heist during the Monaco Grand Prix sets in motion a trail by the Oregon crew for their money which has been stollen but what it has to do with the escape of Napoleon and the treasure he looted from Russia and stashed on his retreat?  They also come up against a ship just like theirs but with far more formidable weapons, the owner being implicated in the bank heist but who also wants to end the World’s financial institutions, whilst stealing billions.  Can Juan and the crew of the Oregon stop them in time and get their own money back?

I really loved the book as I do with all of Clive Cussler’s books and am really sad that there are going to be no more since his passing.  I always find his books take me well away from whatever is going on here and off to far flung countries.  Give it a try.

Here we are at the end of what has been a very strange year.  With the Lockdowns I have done quite a bit more reading than in 2019 but that is hardly surprising!  However I am going to keep up with the reading and also do more quilting!!!!!!

I hope you have enjoyed my choices for each month and I will be starting again in January 2021.  Lets hope that it will be a better year than this.
