Saturday evening DH and Youngest were helping out at a Lifesaving event for our Club so I managed to get the rest of the Christmas presents wrapped and some more things organised, before they arrived home for dinner.
Sunday saw them leave the house at 6.30am to go to an area swimming competition. Youngest did really well and bettered two of his times but it was a long day as they didn’t get home until 6.00pm!
Here are a few of my other Christmas decorations.
I was listening to the radio today and it was saying that a lot of young children don’t realise that Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus, which I think is very sad and I must say that you don’t see many Nativity Scene’s in the stores these days.
I still have sausage rolls to make (Treacle will be very keen on those) and then most of my baking will be finished for a while (until we run out of course!!!!). Treacle is booked in for a spa day on Wednesday and I still have some other things to sort out. I have mailed out the first of our Christmas cards today and need to get the rest sent off.
I hope your Monday and holiday plans are going well.
Hugs, Susie x

Your Christmas tree and decorations and mince tarts and cookies look fabulous! You are getting us even more excited for Christmas day, Miss Susie! Mom loves that your lights are at the stair treads instead of up at the handrail. Everything looks just beautiful!
It all looks so wonderful Susie! What are mine pies? 72 of them is a lot for sure! Kudos to your eldest son on that great coffee table! And to your youngest son on bettering his swim times! Our Piper has her bath/ hair cut/ nail trim day on Thursday… gotta look sweet for the family members coming home. I hope that people everywhere will remember the true meaning of Christmas.
You have been a busy household!! All your cookies look so yummy and your house looks lovely all dressed up for Christmas! Eldest’s table is wonderful – you must be so proud to have such a multi-talented son! I want to come over for a cuppa and cookies!
