We had a lovely breakfast at the hotel on Sunday morning before packing to come home.
The Hotel had started to put up their Christmas Lights.

Which had a balcony and overlooked the garden.
I have had a busy few days with work and also home jobs. DH and Youngest have been away for two days on a trip which was cancelled from last year to do with Land Rovers and driving. Saturday evening DH has a compere event and Sunday we have home jobs to do before we start the Christmas events!!!

I’m so sorry you caught a cold – they are miserable!! Your time in London sounds wonderful – so glad you can take off these times together! No fun having the Covid tests – I had one over a year ago before I had surgery and again this past September when I had the flu, but at least neither time did they try to swab my brain! Lots of tea with lemon and honey and rest as much as you can. I bet Treacle was happy to see you back!
