Have a wonderful Woofy Week, Coco xx
She was so tiny she could not get up the step into the kitchen.
She loved taking all her toys into her bed with her and she is still like this now!
Growing up!
Above at the village park and below at work with Eldest!
In fact we have been leaving her out of her crate whilst we are out for a little while to see how she gets on and so far she has been very good. In fact I think she just goes up to our room, gets on the bed and goes to sleep! We are still keeping the crate up so that if we have any workman in or I am answering the door it is handy for her to go in there and she actually goes in there on her own during the day when she is fed up with her basket next to my desk!
When Treacle passed we, as a family, had a big dicussion about having a puppy. I know that we are encouraged to adopt dogs but I so wanted another Airedale. They are very much, in my family, a family dog as my Grandfather used to breed them so my Mom grew up with Airedales. It was her that had the first one I knew after my Dad passed. We did discuss the looking after of a new puppy as it is mostly on me as I am at home all day and the Boys would look after her if we were away and also if anything happened. DH was a little concerned but because I am at home all day and quite often for long hours I really, really missed Treacle, so we decided to get a new puppy and Coco arrived. I am so glad we had her and she really is a wonderful dog, very loving as they all have been and extremely gentle with the children but can be very puppy like even though she is three!!!
Anyway Miss Coco Happy Birthday, have a wonderful day. We all love you very much.

Going into March we usually get high winds as March begins or none at all so the old saying of March comes in like a Lion and goes out like a Lamb or it reverses. We have had quite a few days where it has already been windy so it may be coming in like a Lion. There is also the old saying of “March Winds doth Blow we shall have Snow”, Mom is really hoping we don’t get snow at this part of the year. She was also saying that how can the first two months of the year be over already? Of course I don’t know anything about that as my days are very much the same!
I hope you lovely lot are having a good week. Woof, Coco xx
They are going to be moving in to their new home a week on Saturday and we have more things being delivered, some of the heavy things are in the garage but then we have to get them over to their home. Of course one thing that I am going to really miss is Blaze, who will be going with his Mummy & Daddy.
We had a busy weekend with lots happening but Mom says this coming weekend is quiet which will be lovely. I hope you all had a great weekend and a lovely week to come.
Woof, Coco xx
I know it is Wednesday but yesterday I had one of those days and did not get around to doing my Corner on Tuesday!
I did eventually get up and prepared to start the day and one of my jobs is to keep an eye out in the garden to guard against those pesky squirrels and cats. I have also recruited Blaze into the Watch!
Here we both are scanning the garden!
I hope you had a wonderful Woofy New Year and a great week.

In fact it has been so busy at home with Mom and Dad that I got no sleep on Sunday at all. I usually have a snooze after my breakfast and then another snooze after my lunchtime biscuit and then a long sleep when I go to bed!! So Monday I was very, very tired.
One thing I am not so sure about is the Santa Hat which Mom usually gets out at this time of year. I don’t mind wearing my coat when it is very cold or raining but I don’t like things on my head, unlike Angel Treacle who loved wearing the Santa Hat!
I am off now to see what Mom is doing in the kitchen I think there is more baking being done. Have a wonderful Woofy Christmas and I will see you in the New Year for some more Coco’s Corner.

Now you all know we have a little lodger in the home, Blaze and we get along very well but I am not so sure about sharing pictures with him.
It is turning cold here and the leaves have been falling quite fast and I love running through them to see if I can find anything hiding. I saw the Squirrel the other day hopping about at the top of the garden and just watched him for a while but he was very busy digging in the lawn. Mom says he is busy burying nuts and things for winter! Grr in my garden!
Have a wonderful Woofy Week. Coco xxxx
PS. Blaze says Meow! xx
Every day as you are busy and getting on with work and jobs and all the other stuff you generally have to do in a week, your brain doesn’t really register things, especially time passing. It is only when someone says “oh so and so is 40 this year” or about their child “they are 18 this year” you realise how many years have gone past.
I went to see the film at the cinema and was twenty five, been married to DH for one year and we had our first home and both working. So I guess I related to Sally, living in New York and going out to dinner with friends.
This of course was long before we had the Boys and one of our things was to go out on a Friday evening after work for dinner before the weekend which was always busy. At the time DH’s father was still alive and my Grandmother so we spent Saturdays visiting them and doing jobs or shopping for them and usually we had a disco to do on Saturday evening (DH has always done DJ work, although it is now more announcing). Sunday was Church and then getting things sorted for the week ahead. Fridays and Friday night have always been my favourite day of the week.
I think I will put this film on over the weekend and reminisce!!! DH is out all day Saturday again with announcing and I am determined to get some quilting done this weekend. Sunday we are supposed to do some gardening but it looks like it is going to rain for most of the day so we shall have to see. Youngest & Girlfriend will be home on Saturday after their week’s holiday.
Happy Thursday you lovely lot.

The Fur Babies have worn themselves out today playing. This is Coco in her basket next to my desk and Blaze is asleep in DH’s chair, in the sunshine of course!

At the weekend Daddy is out all weekend so it will be just Mom and I and I know she is going to be in the sewing room getting things done, so I will be with her helping and directing operations there!
Have a wonderfully Woofy Week. Coco xxx
