On this Day we Remember

******
As with all days this one comes around and it is now twenty four years ago, which seems unbelievable. I think it will be a day eteched in everyone’s memories who witnessed this terrible thing on our TV’s. Our hearts go out to all those who lost loved ones.

Happy Thursday you lovely lot. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xx
I can’t believe it’s been 24 years either. George and I had just come home from our morning walk with Maggie. Watching the events unfold on TV was just unbelievable and I couldn’t stop watching as I honestly couldn’t believe what I was seeing! It was horrible and I will never forget. The photo of autumn and all of the trees in their red finery is just breathtakingly beautiful♥
That was a horrible day. I watched it happen on TV while I was getting ready to go to work. It was so hard to teach that day, but my students were totally unaware of it. One of the teachers at my school lost her sister in the tower. Then the event of 9/10 was horrific to see…the country it still reeling from that. I’ll watch it on my computer tomorrow. They are using a stadium that will fit 78,600 people and they expect it to fill. Services start at 11 and they will be opening the doors at 8.
I think it is going to be a difficult winter…certainly getting cold here earlier than usual…I’m wearing fleece leggings, long-sleeved shirt and wool socks!! With a weak la nina and a strong polar vortex that is expected to wobble, we’ll get a colder than usual winter in the north, warmer than usual in the south and I’m right where the two masses of air will meet, so it’s going to very interesting to say the least. Keep warm!!!
