Mom and I got to sit outside for all of an hour on Saturday before it rained again. Mom had her cup of tea and I decided to get on the bench and sit next to her and keep an eye on my garden.
As you can see I am getting quite woolly again and I need a Spa Day and she is hoping to get me in before we are all on vacation.
Mom and Dad don’t know why I started doing this but when the mail comes through our letter box in our front door, I grab it and shake it like mad and quite often rip it up! So they tried to tell me not to and get to the post first but it has not been working. Well do you know what they have done? They have put one of these things onto the door and so when the Postman puts the mail through the flap it now falls into this cage!!!! Who would have thought that the mail needs a crate like I do!
Anyway it is working really well because I now stand at the mail crate and bark at it but I am so pleased with myself as I have not ripped it up and Mom does not shout at me now!!!!
This was me after about twenty minutes of sitting with Mom on the bench, I think I see a squirrel!
Last week was really busy and everyone was in and out at different times of the day and Mom was in charge of feeding me. Even with all the ins and outs I did not persuade anyone to give me two dinners because Mom was in charge, drat!!!!
I hope you had a lovely Woofy Weekend and a good week to come.
I wish our mailman delivered our mail through the front door like your does, Coco, and your mom is very smart to protect it with a cage! Treacle’s collar looks beautiful on you and we are so happy that you get to wear it in her memory.
Moms are good at outsmarting their fur babies! Love the cage for the mail! Why did you pick up that naughty habit?? It’s not a squirrel, silly Coco!! Keep on patrolling the garden to keep those squirrels out. You could come here and go after the gray squirrels we have…Tara hates them but rarely barks at them any more because she can’t see, hear or smell them. At 14, she is spending most of her time sleeping, so I’m not sure how much longer she will be with me. Rather reminds me of my dad, to be honest. Woolly or not, Coco is beautiful!!
