It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

I don’t think we can ignore it any longer as the weeks are flying by and all the stores are now stocking Christmas things.  Last night DH and I were invited to a late night shopping event at a very well-known Department Store in the UK where we do almost all of our shopping.  They had put on different demonstrations  and the whole store was open for shopping, so I took advantage of DH being there so he could carry the bags and got quite a few presents.

Of course it is not just Christmas present buying I have to do at this time of year as I have five Birthdays between now and Christmas who all need presents.  It gets very confusing as I am in Christmas mode and then think oh I need a Birthday present as well for that person!!!!!

A few of our parcels!

When we are in London I am going to look for some unusual things for the Boys, the Girlfriends and DH and our close friends.    I have a few more things to get and then it will be about done!!!  Just need to get them wrapped, tagged and then they can happily sit and wait until we do the delivery runs, which I love doing.  You get to see everyone for a little while and catch up.

Today was house job day and also finishing some work off.  Tomorrow I have a few errands to run and unfortunately a funeral to go to of a friend from Tanget.  Tomorrow evening it is the young swimmers and their Championships, DH is out compering and then Saturday evening we are with the older swimmers at the Arena League.  Sunday is Remembrance Sunday and before we know it, it will be Monday again.

I love shopping when I have someone else with me…shopping alone is boring! Love the decorations in the shop – it would be fun to do that at home too. I need to ship a box to my daughter in Texas, hubby will take care of shopping for his side of the family and I have no clue what to get him for Christmas!! With all my kids spread across the country, it is easier to mail checks so they can get what they want and need.
