Thursday Again.

Well January is behind us and I can’t say that it was a great month.  You know you start out on January 1st thinking that it’s going to be a good year and then January happens and yes this year looks like it is going to be just as bad as last year was!  So here is February and at the moment it is shaping up to be the same as January.  It’s going to be a long year!

Yesterday it was all over the news about the New Moon, not only was it going to be a super moon (the closest it will be to Earth) it was going to be a blue moon (two new moons in one month) it was also going to be a red moon as well (a lunar eclipse) so a super blue blood moon which has not happened for 150 years.  In Derbyshire? it was raining and cloudy so we got no chance of seeing it!  It is always the same when one of these celestial things happen, especially when we are in the perfect place to see it and its raining or cloudy and we don’t even get a glimpse!  Fortunately lots of people did get to see and photograph it.  The picture below is from the Daily Mail Online and taken by David Clarke/SWNS.com in Warwickshire, UK.  Just as a complete aside I went to school with a boy called David Clarke, I wonder if it’s him?!!!!!

DH is busy coughing his way around Scotland visiting customers and hopefully passing on his cold and won’t come back with it.  Youngest is busy with assignments and I have managed to get my work finished and just have house jobs to do now.

I have been going to our local hospital once a week for some hydratherapy sessions (I won’t bore you with the reasons) but because the parking is dreadful and I have to use my Jeep to get there, I have been arriving at 7.30am for my 9.00am appointment!  Not only is it taking lots of time it is also costing a fortune in parking!!!  The appointments are helping and obviously the pool is great as it is so warm, just a nuisance about the time it is taking, oh well.

Tomorrow I have some errands to run and then we are out in the evening at a business dinner and then Saturday I will be quilting for the day and can’t wait.  Sunday I am hoping to get some other jobs done round the house and keep on top of things.  The weather is going to be sunny which is lovely to see after all the rain and grey days we have had, however wth the sun it is going to be very cold but hopefully will kill off all these bugs.

London Eye

Here is a #TBT Picture for you of the Boys from Febrary 2005 when they were 9 and 5.  We spent Half Term in London whilst DH was at an exhibition I took them all over to the museums and things and as you can see here with the London Eye in the background.  It was cold which is why they are wrapped up in fleece jackets, hats and gloves.   I love looking through these pictures for #TBT and seeing the Boys when they were little.

Happy Thursday and February everyone.

Hugs, Susie xx

Hopefully when the year comes in fierce, it will go out wonderful!! Glad you are able to sleep at night *grin* The boys are so adorable!!! Over a decade ago…where does the time go? I got up at 5 AM to see the Super Blue Blood moon…it was amazing!!! A bit chilly so I kept popping out to look instead of just staying out there the full hour or so of the event.
