A Tiny Bit of Quilting!

DSC05069We have got Evalyn a baby doll for Christmas and a crib which comes with it but the bedding for it was not very good, which gave me an excuse to do some small quilting!!!  Here is the quilt I have made for it.

DSC05073The little pillow

DSC05074The sheet

DSC05076All three together.

It was great fun making them, especially as they went together really quick.  I have followed Kathleen Tracy’s blog for a while and she makes a lot of doll quilts/small quilts and as she says it is a great way to practice a new block or quilting as they are only small.

I have almost got everything now ready for next week and just have another afternoon of baking to do and then that’s it!  If I haven’t made it or bought it by then, then they will be going without!!!!!!

The weather here today is yuck, grey all day and now it is raining heavily!!!!!  Swimming Club tonight where we have a few presentations for people who cannot make Saturday evening, the main Presentation & Party Night.  Tomorrow DH is playing the man in the Red Suit for the village playschool and is then off for a business Christmas lunch.  Youngest finishes school tomorrow so he and I will be having a Pizza and DVD night at home.

I hope all your plans are going well for the Big Day.

Hugs, Susie xx

Totally adorable!!! She will love the proper sheet, pillow and quilt!! You did a fabulous job on them!! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here…snow is falling again!!! Miss Tara had to go out, so I put on my scarf, hat, jacket and snow boots, clipped on her leash (too many coyotes around at night to go out without it) and when she hit the deck with snow, she put on the brakes! I had to force her to get out to the grass, but she refused to do anything! Kept pulling on her leash to get back inside to lay where the furnace blows out hot air on her!!! Treacle would be having a blast out there!!
