Now I know why I was feeling grey the other day!  Eldest was only home for three days but of course I caught his cold!!!!!!!  Grrrr

The weekend was a washout both in weather and getting jobs done!!  I do not have time to lose two days with all the jobs I need to get done!!!  When Eldest gets back he is going to help, to make up for giving me his cold!  He doesn’t know it yet but he will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am now going to get dinner ready whilst holding a handkerchief to stop passing on the cold to anyone else!!!!!

Sniff, Susie x

You poor baby!!! Getting a cold just knocks the socks right off your feet (thereby forcing you to stay abed to keep warm)! I just finished putting my dinner together in my slow cooker – another gray, gloomy, rainy (YIPPEE) day, so I’m trying out a new recipe from The Grain Changer for a Chicken Salsa Verde soup – I adore Mexican (or maybe Tex-Mex, the American version) food and when it’s cold outside there is nothing better then some warm (or sometimes a bit warmer) Mexican food! I love throwing some ingredients into my slow cooker and having dinner all finished at the end of my quilting day. I hope you feel better (zinc really helps me) and Eldest definitely owes you BIG time!!! You have a cold…you need chicken soup – perfect!!!
