Monday!

DSC04349Youngest spent the weekend either swimming or coaching at swimming and then Sunday morning he went out with another of the swimmers on a two hour bike ride around a local trail!  Needless to say by Sunday evening he was shattered and so was DH, who had been transporting him all weekend.

Treacle and I stayed home, her in her basket and me doing some quilting!  No don’t faint, I did some quilting!!!! I spent Saturday cutting out and Sunday sewing.

DSC04365 DSC04366Here are the blocks.  This is for Youngest’s quilt and he is very much into camper vans and would love to own one when he is older.

DSC04369This one is my favourite.

DSC04370 DSC04371Just busy now making half square triangles before fitting them together.  I think it will look really fun when it is all together.

Eldest and Girlfriend came for dinner on Saturday night and it was great to see them both.  After dinner we were playing a “TV” game and the Girls won!!!!!  I also managed to get all my ironing done as well!  It was a really busy weekend.

I hope everyone on the East Coast of the US is staying warm and safe with all the snow and the storm predicted there.  We are due to get some more snow this week but over here it does not always happen.  One thing for sure is Treacle will be snuggled in her basket.

Hope you are having a Marvelous Monday.

Hugs, Susie x

What an adorable quilt this will be! Our mom and dad used to own a VW Bus but that was long before either one of us was born and that includes our hooman sissy too.
The snow is coming down sideways, Treacle. We can’t wait to romp in it tomorrow or Wednesday – whenever it decides to stop! We are psyched!

    Love ya lots♥

So glad you had such a productive weekend! I’m playing with fabric for the first time this month! The grands and I have been sick since Thursday – they have colds and I got the flu! It has been difficult caring for them when I’m fighting a fever, runny nose and cough…all with a headache! But they are at school and day care today, so I’m alone and slowly getting stuff done. First job is to make fabric ABCs for my granddaughters. They are all pinned and ready to be sewn, so I’m off!
